Now some people will try to make money online and so they will do things such as writing freelance articles to earn a few extra bucks here and there.  This is not really passive earning at all and in fact it requires a lot of hard, continuous work to keep producing a small amount of money.  This is not the path we are looking for in our quest to generate an automatic stream of cash flowing into our lives.

What we can do instead is to sacrifice up front and write tons of articles and publish them on our own websites.  Then we can promote those articles by creating tons of links to them and eventually they will rank well in the search engines.  This may sound like a lot of effort but it is the key to getting a steady flow of free, recurring traffic.  Once you have this steady flow of traffic then you can figure out how to make money from these visitors and thus you will attain a residual income.  Keeping your rankings in the search engines is relatively easy and then you can expand your income by targeting new topics or different words.

All you have to do is to open your own website or blog and then once you have been accepted into the Adsense program you can place the ads on your page and focus all of you time on increasing your traffic. The more traffic you have the better chance you have of someone clicking on one of the Google ads. Every time someone slick on an ad you will make some money.

This is one way to make money online and in my experience it is one of the best and easiest ways to make that extra income you have been looking for. There is a learning curve so don’t think that this is a quick way to make money but if you put in the work and have the patients needed you can, over time, make quite a bit of money using this amazing program.

“I’ll take two,” was my response.

The older boy, clearly the “big brother”, took charge; dishing out orders and taking names. After a very short wait of only 45 seconds, we got two paper cup, half full of lemonade.

“That will be 50 cents.”

I pulled out a dollar and gave it to the older boy. I told him to keep the change.

“Whoa! A dollar! We got a whole dollar!” said the older brother. “Look at this! We made a dollar and he said we didn’t have to give him any money back!”

The younger, wiser brother, looked at his big brother and said, with a straight face, “It’s not all about the money.”

It’s not all about the money. This was a profound statement and what’s amazing is it came from the mouth of a 5 year old.

I have learned valuable lessons over the past few years. This was one of those moments. It’s really not all about the money. It’s about much, much more. Money is a byproduct of providing good service.

The team that I have placed around me, just like the team that this these two kids formed, is the most important part of my organization. Without my team, I’m not forced to grow, I don’t have advisors and I don’t have support. Without a team, my young lemonade friend would have to face the competitive lemonade world alone. Thanks to his little brother and wise advisor, he now knows that “It’s not all about the money.”
